Smoking For Pro Life Causes
Our Council held its annual Barbeque to benefit prolife causes today in the parking lot of the Walmart. The smell was wonderful and attracted people who didn’t even know it was going on.
I’ve added a number of photos from the event today to our online photo album. There’s a permanent link in the [...]
Fish Fry
Here’s a familiar scene to Catholics around the country this Lenten season. The Friday night Knights of Columbus fish fry.
This is our Council’s dinner in the Cathedral Undercroft and in the photo our Bishop joined us for supper. We’ll be doing it again this Friday too. The only thing I would caution [...]
Annual Tootsie Roll Drive
Our Council just held it’s annual Tootsie Roll drive.
Shoppers at a number of local stores saw smiling faces like this at the entrance. Funds from the program benefit the intellectually disabled.

Donation To Carmelite Monastery
Recently local Knights of Columbus members presented a check to the Carmelite Monastery on West Main St. from the proceeds of our annual fish fry dinner. The nuns are cloistered and behind the screen in the photo.
I will have to get the amount so I can post it here. This is just one [...]
Fr. Shetler Goodbye
I was not able to be there to say goodbye to Fr. Joe Shetler, our now past council Chaplain but did receive a couple of photos.

During his final report to the council he thanked the Council for our support during his two years here and said [...]

Lenten Fish Fry
If you haven’t been out to one of our Lenten fish fries then you’re missing one great meal.
Yesterday we held a very well attended dinner for people serving fresh fried fish, hush puppies, freedom fries, cole slaw, corn and all the trimmings.
This picture is from around 6pm when the tables were pretty much full.
Our Chaplain, [...]
Mother’s Day Flowers
Once again this year, our Council provided carnations to all the mothers who attended weekend Masses for Mother’s Day.
By the way, I’ve created another online photo album with a bunch of photos I’ve had from past events. You can find it here: K of C 12992 General Photo Album
Spring Chicken Dinner and More Photos Online
Business looked good early at our Annual Parish Chicken Dinner today. The line was long and the food was good.
This is our annual event to raise funds for the School, PSR and Helias teachers.
By the way, I’ve created another online photo album with a bunch of photos I’ve had from past events. You [...]
Steak Supper Photos Online
I would say the steaks were definitely flame grilled at our January Steak Supper. I wish I could have been there.
Thanks to Mike McKown for taking pictures though like this one.
I’ve uploaded all of them to an online photo album so you can feel free to browse them and/or watch as a slide show. [...]
